Technology

MESI technology serving your health

At the Clinique IPS du Palais, we use MESI technology to perform your electrocardiograms, automated blood pressure measurements, ankle-brachial indexes and spirometry tests.

This platform brings together test measurements and tracings on a digital interface, allowing our team to review the results to support your assessment and follow-up.

You benefit from personal support at every step: explanation of the test, setup and instructions during the measurements. Results are interpreted according to your clinical situation and the terms of the service chosen.

Our tests and their fees

Six tests, explained simply

Automated blood pressure measurement

25 $

Blood pressure is measured automatically several times in order to obtain an average of the readings.

This test documents your blood pressure at the time of the appointment and provides useful information for your follow-up.

How it works: a cuff is placed on your arm. You remain seated at rest during the measurements, according to the team’s instructions.

Ankle-brachial index

90 $

The ankle-brachial index compares the blood pressure measured at the ankles with that measured at the arms. It contributes to the assessment of arterial circulation in the legs.

How it works: cuffs are placed on the arms and ankles to take the measurements while you are lying down.

The results are considered in the context of your clinical assessment.

Understanding the ABI and the assessment of arterial circulation

Spirometry with interpretation

195 $

This option includes spirometry, an analysis of the results and an interpretation report by our primary care nurse practitioner — PHCNP.

It provides a test accompanied by a clinical interpretation to guide the next steps of your follow-up.

Hearing test — Audiometry

75 $

This screening test assesses your perception of sounds at different frequencies in order to detect a possible decrease in hearing.

How it works: you listen to sounds through suitable equipment and indicate when you hear them.

Depending on the results and your situation, a further assessment may be recommended.
